I think I was having withdrawals after having cataract surgery day before yesterday. Not sure I should be playing on computer but I had this idea of this Only Baby picture of my Grandma & had to play with it... Terry
This is a layout a did a little while ago. I chose it for the Retro contest because of the colors. These are all the colors from the 60's & 70's that I didn't care for then and still don't today. (I do like how this layout turned out though). http://www.scrapbookmax.com/gallery/...8575&nocache=1
Well, here it is! My first submission to the site and my retro contest entry. I had a lot of fun with the retro theme. I took my inspiration from the work of Andy Warhol who started the Pop Art craze. That is what all the crazy colors are about and I added a scrap booking twist to it. The pictures are of my daughter wearing a poodle skirt outfit though that gets a little lost in all the color but I had a lot of fun doing this page anyway and I am pretty happy with the turn out. As long as you don't look at it too long you shouldn't go blind
We're lovin' the groovy and old-fashioned layouts you've been posting! Just a friendly reminder that the contest ends March 28 at midnight (CST) - that's tonight!!! So if you have some last minute retro inspirations, now's the time to post them in the contest!
(See the first post in this thread for full details!)
Two more layouts. I received a copy of "The persuaders" in the mail yesterday and got inspiration from the dvd artwork and the program. I found my kiddy photos and got started. This is my 1st attempt at a LO with so many pics. After I made the title for the 1st layout I had to make a 2nd so I could put the lyrics to "Those were the days" on it. So many memories.
I have discovered that if I want to do journaling I can't put too many pics on one page
I hope you enjoy
P.S. Wasn't my hair red when I was kid? A real copper top.
