  • Help! I'm new

    Hi
My name is Jeanne and I am from Florida. I have been looking at all the wonderful things that can be done with Scrapbook Max and just feel so lost. I am not really that great with the computer but learning and trying to figure out things I have seen is driving me nuts, soooooooooooo thought I would take the plunge and get with the experts. I may ask some really dumb question but that is the only way I will learn.
Hope to hear from you soon.

    Jeanny, welcome to the forum.

I'm not one of the brains around here, but I can assure you that there are many here that are truly talented, and every one, will try to help where ever we can. We have a really wonderful bunch here, and always like to have more join in.

So welcome to the family, and never, ever, feel you are asking a dumb question. Only dummies know it all! And we all learn by sharing with each other.

So, get to scrapping, girl, you're burning day light here!

      I'm new too

      Hi Jeanne!

I am completely new to this software and digital scrapbooking in general so I am sure to be asking questions that have very easy answers to them, but hopefully we can share our new found knowledge!

Have loads of fun, I have been!

        Welcome!

Don't worry - there are no dumb questions! We all have stumbling blocks and send "helpppppppp" messages! Have fun and ask away! There are lots of experts on this forum. Not me, though!!

          Welcome to the family.

I'm sure you'll do just fine. Lots of fine folks to help if you get stuck on something. But you'll never know unless you ask.

Hi there, Jeanne & Susy...... we're all learning and developing our skills every day..... ask away, somebody will have an answer for you!
God determines who walks into your life... It's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

Thank you so much, I am really looking forward to my trip with everyone. There is so much to learn and do it is sometimes overwhelming but I am sure this is going to be an awsome trip with all the wonderful people associated with scarpgirls. This seems to be the most helpful group I have encountered and looking forward it the journey.
              Thanks

Thank you, I am looking forward to this journey in scrapbooking. I actually just got interested in it and feel overwhelmed by all the things that I see. Also I am definately not a computer wiz. Thank you for your encouragement I really appreciate it.

Thank you Maggie Mae.. Have lots think I will have to make a list, but I will try not to bog any one down. I just feel really stupid that I don't understand how to get some of the down loads into my program. But I am still reading the instructions that came with my program. Hopefully once that is complete I will have less.
                  Thanks again

Thank you very much for your encouragement. My dumb question right now is do I post my questions here or go to another thread to ask my questions? Thanks

                      Jeanne

We're so glad to have you with us here. Your already receiving an example of the fine bunch of people we have here. EVERYONE has something to share or give. You too, in no time, will be able to share your new learned talents with the rest of us!

Also, do not feel that you need to post a thank you response to everyone. We don't want you to be over whelmed so ask away. You will quickly find this program to be easy. You will also find yourself in need of having things explained a little simplier. All that is okay!!!!! Just Ask Away!!!! This forum was designed to offer suggestions and encouragement to all it's members.

                      Everyone welcomes you aboard!

Well, this particular forum is for introducing yourself. I would post my questions in the Discussion forum, but there really is no bad place to ask. I think the fastest and easiest way to get an answer is to write a short, clear statement in the title line. If you simply write "Question", then every one has to look, but if you write, "Printing Question" or "Downloading Question" or something like that, then the ones that feel most confortable and knowledgable about that particular subject is more likely to get back to you as soon as possible. It just makes things easier.

But again, there are really no rules as to posting, and like the folks mentioned already, there is never a bad question. So.... Ask away!!!

                          Ooooops!

Hey Granny, I didn't realize this was the "Introduce yourself thread" dah!!!

As you know, many newbies feel that they must post with everything they download to say thank you.......... Of course we the veterans know that all those postings make it harder for us to sift through all the New Posts. I know there are days when I come home from work, I only click on the "New Post" I will have 40 + new posts that say thank you for a templete or embellishment.

I was wondering....Has anyone else here found a way to skip over thank you posts? I know if I don't open them, they will stay in the New Posts section.
