    Hello,

Screen resolution templates are 'low resolution'. That means that compared to the standard 'high resolution' templates available throughout this forum, they have less 'dots' of data in them, so when you print them, they will be either blurry, or blocky. But, they're perfect to display in our galleries, or on other electronic mediums (video cd, screensaver, etc.).

    Does that answer your question?

    Desmond.

A layout is a page design or the grouping of scrapbooking pages that go together.

A template is a pre-made layout that you can add your own pictures to.

        Hope that helps!

          Correct.

You *can* print low-resolution pages ... but keep in mind that the end result will only be as good as the source. The higher resolution (The more dots per square inch on the page), the higher quality the finished product.

Yes we have been asking for somewhere to post turorials so that the same question don't keep getting asked.

There are a couple of threads where it has been discussed.

We haven't talked about that here, no. If you have a tutorial that specifically has to do with Scrapbook MAX! (ie. how to create templates), we can post them in our FAQ section.

As for other programs (such as Paint Shop Pro) ... if anyone has tutorials they'd like to post, please send me a brief email (desmond [at] scrapbookmax [dot] com) describing what you'd like to post (or send me the post itself ...). If there is enough interest, and the tutorials are technically accurate ... I'd be happy to present the idea of a moderated tutorials forum.

In a nutshell, what i'm trying to avoid is creating 'dead' forum, that doesn't receive a lot of attention from posters.
