  • Howdy from an Okie

Although I was not born an Okie, I have been married to one for 25 years, come June so, I think that probably makes me one! We have 2 great kids. Our son is a Cpl. in the USMC and came home about a month ago after spending 13 months in Iraq. When I say home, I mean that he is stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA, so that is where he and his wife are. Our daughter is not quite out of HS but the past year has been quite an eventful one for her. She is now married and gave birth to our first grandchild, little EJ, in January. Not the ideal situation but, you learn to roll with the punches. Wouldn't give that grandson up for the world! I like to travel, singing gospel music concerts but, we haven't been able to do that for a little while. My husband is the greatest! He is the fire chief for our little volunteer fire department and he does just about everything that needs done! He bales hay in the summer and then puts it out in the winter AND works a full-time job as corporate security. I worked with him for about 10 years and then circumstances deemed that I change jobs so, I am now the editors' assistant at the local newspaper. Quite interesting!
Anyway, that's me. I know it's long but, I have to add that I am having so much fun with my SBM software. It's just so awesome and I know that I haven't even figured it all out yet. But I will!!!!

Welcome Lemonade, sounds like your lives are anything but dull. Once you get into SBM more you may find yourself cutting back on other things. (Like the rest of us). Can't wait to see some layouts!
