You need a programme called winzip. You can download it for free at somewhere like download.com When istalled click on the zip file you want to install and then click on extract and choose the folder you want to put it in.

There are other programmes that can be used but I don't know the name of them. Someone will add to this soon I'm sure

winzip is good, but I just got the rar zip, its alot faster! might want to try that one too, and its free for 45 days!

Hi brios,

You will find a great deal of files are 'packaged; into zip files especially files relating to graphics (because of their size).

Here is a link to a zip tutorial that will walk you through the process, I hope you find it helpful. The learning curve isn't that sharp either.

Another good zip program is 7-zip. It is free and not just for a little while. It's what I use and it is very simple to use. Looks like you have lots of options.
