  • A warm welcome to all the newbies!

The greatest and warmest welcome to all you newbies!!!!

I'm the laziest scrapper around here, so I don't always welcome everyone individually, but believe me, like the rest of the bunch here, I'm tickled pink to have you all with us. More people to put through the iniciation ritual.

    Steve... Get the gantlet ready!

Corey... Are the impliments ready? Did you remember to sterilize them this time?

    Kody... Straps in place?

    Moombeam.... Wires hooked up?

Kazr... No sedagives for this new crop!

    Marion.... Bandages and salts?

    Did I forget anything?

A warm welcome to all the newbies!

Granny, Granny settle down, your going to scare them away and then all the fun ends. Let them get used to us and test the waters a little first.

Just kidding guys! Welcome to the craziest (but the funnest) forum I have ever been in.

Steve, I believe Gantlet means Gauntlet, correct me If i'm wrong Granny
I am the typo queen on the net, make so many mistakes in typing, my poor Mum had to learn how to decipher it & said it was in another language entirely, so if you come across something I haven't edited ,my apologies.
Again, I voice Granny's words in Welcoming each & every one of the Newbies, it really is hard to keep up at times

What's the ritual for someone like me who's been away for a wee while, and now come back? I'm kinda worried about the "punishment" considering your "initiation"!!

                Marion.... Bandages and salts?

Granny, you stuck me with the bandages and salts. Does that mean that after you guys all had a go at them, I have to heal them?

Oh well, had a lot of practice bandaging 5 brothers,3 little sons and 5 grandsons!

Kazr, I actually looked it up in the dictionary, and it spelled it both ways. I used this way because the other lends itself more to throwing down the glove in a dare, where as I was thinking of the obstacle course with all the blades, etc. Remember the movie with Richard Greer and Julia Ormond?

Sorry, I can't spell! Anyways, running the Gauntlet is really good for ya, get's you in shape in no time.

Marion, yeah, you revive them with the smelling salts, bandage them up, and put them through it a second time. No whimps allowed in this group.

                  Granny

ps: The sedagives was not a type either. Remember "Young Frankestine" ?

                    Granny - Behave!

Because young lady, you are no longer the senior member, I am as I am a GREAT Granny and "great"s the operative word. Not that I have nothing else to learn - this scrapbooking is GREAT fun and the perfect excuse to shift all those old photos I have been hording for years. Its addictive isn't it?
I moved to France from the UK with my toy boy four years ago and it's GREAT here. We have managed to turn the clock back fifty years and they said it couldn't be done.
Must sign off as there appears to be a lot of reading matter on the forum. Catch you later.

Pinky.... My husband and I love your name, we laughed for hours after seeing it. Well, glad to know someone around here is older, and can help me keep the young whippersnappers in line. And oh, girl, do I envy you, living in France. I wish I could just go visit. My life long dream is to go to Europe some day.

Anyhow, welcome again and have fun.
