I want to share with you how people have vacations here in Italy and also in my lonely PERU, so here people go out for vacations for 3 or 4 weeks x year and most of them take it in july and august, well if someone wants to take it in another month can do it buy most of the people do it inthat months, specially in august, the 15th is holiday and is called Ferragosto, the exactly reason i dont know but that day is really quiet, nobody outside, no cars, no stores, no nothing. Most of them goes to the beach , the others prefer to stay in the city or goes to the mountain, visit the family or stay together with the friends, but with this strong years, the change from the lira to the euro the people cant spend a lot of money for vacancies, so now is less the people who make a real vacation for the hole month, they go out for a week, or rent a house in the beach. They stay in Italy and travel inside it, and a little part goes out Italy, most of them in Europe and that who can spend much more go to the other countries . So more or less is like that if there is another italian who can share something else will be great because i'm telling you what i see in this 3 years i'm here!!!! Bluemarlin you can tell us more about it?
Well in Peru, in Lima where I leave for 23 yearsssss , snif , snif, snif the vacarions are different because the seasons are different in this period there is winter and the schools have like 2 or 3 weeks of vacations, specially because in the ending of july is the independence day so most of them are at home not all can travel, maybe with the long weekend people go somewhere but inside. There you go for vacacies during the hole year, 3 or 4 weeks too
Some of them travel inside and the others goes to >US, caribe, because the prices to go to Cusco and to go , for example to Santa Margarita Venecuela are more or less the same , i mean a week in each places costs more or less the same.
I have a lot of things to tell all of you about travelling in my Peru but i guess i wrote a lot and i dont want you to get sleep!!!! so in another thread i can tell you about it!
So now how you do vacations, where are you going ???????
By the time we are going to the mountain for somedays to visit the sisters or my mom in law, in Avigliano, Potenza so I promisse to post the pictures !!!!! in that little town you go back for a lot of years, is a very nice place. and hope to do vacations for holidays in Peru
