  • URGGG Im SO MAD!!!!!! WARNING 2 U ALL!!

    HI All,
I just wanted to let you know that I had downloaded some Freebies from this certain website & Guess What I got or should I say my computer got.. A Flippen Virus!!!!!

Here is the link to the site.. I just dont want any of you to get a Virus like I did..... http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/chat/...ks.php?catid=5

That is only place I have downloaded stuff from aside from here. And there stuff doesnt go directly into SBM. Like the stuff does here.....

And I havent had any problems so far from here at SBM... Do you know of where I can download stuff (even if I have to pay for it) from?

    Oh, no!

    Hi Binkey,

Oh, oh. I think Scrapbook-bytes is usually a good site - but you never know! I like Scrap Girls - they have lots of freebies and lots of kits to buy, also. Hope you were able to get rid of the virus!

There is also twopeasinabucket.com. They have freebies and digital items to buy. If you google in digital scrapbooking you are bound to find a bunch of sites. If you buy from the companies themselves, you should be okay. At least, hope so.

        hi Lilbinkey
So sorry to hear you had a virus,I was told by my PC store where I get mine fixed from time to time, that the minute you open your browser you are liable to get a virus,(100's out there at one time now, scary isn' it) hope you have it under control now.
I am now an avid shopper at the Daily Scrap Mall-to order kits you do have to join but its a very easy process

apart from some freebies from time to time, they have the
most beautiful variety of kits i've come across & at such reasonable prices, quite a lot through the week go down to half price or less(try the bargain basement or clearance centre) as well as the specials, & when a new kit arrives, its usually put in at a reduced price also. I have tried many many stores but this is the best for me, I hope you like it too
By the way, I still like SBM the best, but its nice to be able to use other kits from time to time in SBM

I'm sorry you got a virus I shop and d/l things from there frequently and have never had a virus from them. Make sure you have an anti virus checker / software and make sure it's up to date!

There's a tonne of sites out there with freebies and what heaps with shops.

Here is one site with a whole heap of links on it (I hope it's ok to post it)

          http://www.scrapwiki.com/ScrapWiki/perspective.aspx?action=view&page=digital%20scrap% 20web%20sitesigitalScrapbookWebsites

Hope this helps, and like the others have said that you got the virus under control! Good luck

Ohhh and you have to sign up to their newsletter to get the freebies (With Scrapgirls)

                Hi Lilbinkey,

I think someone else answered this about Scrap Girls but you have to sign up for their free newsletter to get the freebies. You get about 6 freebies/week and they are really nice ones. Also, their kits to purchase are really nice. Hope you don't get any more viruses! Yuck!

Incidentally if anyone wants good anti-virus protection which doesn't slow your system down, add a ton of crap to your system, or cost a ton of money - NOD 32 is awesome. I've been using it for a while now, very happy with it. Much better than Norton IMO. $39/yr. ($29/yr. on a 2 yr. license)

                      It's small, fast, and reliable.

P.S. This is just my personal opinion - not to be construed as the position of Indigo Rose Software Corp. in any way.
Scrapbook MAX! is the fun and easy digital scrapbooking software for Windows. Download a free trial version at .

They send out 2-3 Newsletters a week and the freebies are included in them. Usually on the top of the newsletter. I just got one today as a matter of fact.
