HELP............. Got a BIG PROBLEM

I have been getting "ERROR" messages and was advised to uninstall my SBM then reinstall. I started and got scared that I would lose all my templetes, projects, and other stuff. Please advise!!!!! I would cry if I lost my goodies but I need to get rid of the Error message. Can I reinstall over the old one?

Wow, have never received such an error message. Perhaps the tech people can jump in there.

But I do know that I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program before (i.e., due to an updated version), and all of my works (templates, published albums, etc) have stayed just as they were - I didn't lose a thing!

You no when we had the trail and they asked use to unstall the trail to install the CD Rom They said the layouts you have made will not be Deleted.
BUT I don't no about ERRORS
So DON"T do anything until they work out why you are getting Errors
I hope I don't get any ERRORS.

ReInstall did not work

Desmond, I uninstalled program then reinstalled it and I'm still getting that error message. I get the message when I click on the icon that opens the SBM program, prior to getting the screen to create new scrapbook or open existing scrapbook.

And another question -- does the program still run after you get this error? Or does it not function at all?

Attach this file:
C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Data\_help_map.xml

To an email. That should do it.

Just to clarify, you did overwrite that file with the one found here, correct?:
