File ext. question

Hello All,
I'm of course new here & have a question regarding changing file ext. for example I've downloaded some zip files, how do I change those to jpg / smt ext?

I know this is probably a silly question & I apologize

ZIP files are archives of many other files. You need to "unzip" them to get at the real files inside. Then, assuming that there are JPG image files in there, you can just drag and drop them onto your Scrapbook MAX! pages.

Visit www.winzip.com to get a unzip program or check with whoever you got the ZIP file from for instructions.

www.7-zip.org is really good too...even better than winzip, and it's free.

Regarding the zip file

I went to the 7-zip site and there are 3 different options to download. Something to do with 32 and 16. I have no clue what to download here, but I do need something to unzip a bunch of files.

Just use the first link (this one).

You only need the third one if you're running 64-bit Windows XP. And I highly doubt that you are.
