Did Ya Hear? We Made the news here!

Don't know if any of you heard about the storm that hit El Paso today. It was really bad. We got nearly 8 inches of rain in one day. Lots of damage here and they called a State Of Emergency! I was stuck on the other side of town and unable to get home. Finally, I was able to find my way home tonight. I was anxious to get home because the damage being reported and the film clips I was seeing was all in my neighborhood. I was relieved that the house was okay but my poor cat (Buster) was mad at me when I got home. I'm sure the storm scared him. Probably though I abandoned him.

It is hotter then heck and extremely humid here in Wisconsin. Heat index is around 115 they say! Might as well stay indoors and scrap.

Onie, sure glad you're ok and Buster too. Marion, sorry, you are getting the heat wave we had all of last month.

Girls, please, be careful. Over 150 people died in Ca. from this heat wave. Would not be a bad idea to stock up on water and a few things. Keep cool inside and don't go out unless you have too. You got work to do here anyhow, why would you want to leave the house.
