  • Has this happened to Others???

I am really frustrated! I have created multiple pages in a scrapbook and when I am dropping an element into a page....... that stupid book closes up and I lose all my work! I have repeatedly told others to always save each page before going to another yet I got excited and forgot. I do not understand what is closing the scrapbook when I am not closing it! I wished it would ask me if I want to close it before shutting it down. The worst part of this is that it was the same dang pictures. I can not believe that I can not get my grandchildren's pages done. Has anyone else experienced the program closing and you losing your work?

If was the first time, I would be so frunstrated!!!!

Hi Onie. This hasn't happened to me, so I don't have specific advice. But can you tell us if you are getting any messages when this happens? Sometimes the type of message is the key to the solution...

      No Message

Karen, there has been no warning and no explainations. Just as I am dropping an embellishment into the page, it closes. You would like there would be some automatic "save" build in every so many minutes or go into some temp file. I know when I got shut out of MS word, it would usually be there in a temp file when I opened back up!

      Hummmmmmmmm

We have not heard of this happening to anyone else. For the software to just shut down spontaneously and without waring, something quite strange is going on.

How much RAM memory do you have on your computer? Free hard drive space on your C: drive? What operating system are you using? Anti-virus software? Is it always with the same photo? The more information you can provide, the better!
