  • What Are The Meanings For Some Terms and Lingual

I am finding many new sayings or terms being used on here and I'm sure there are many who do not know the lingual or what they mean. I think it would be fun and educational to share the meanings of some of the lingual or terms on here!!!! Wondering how many diff from each other. Doesn't have to be something like "LOL" but maybe "Vegemite" The term I adore is the one I hear from Auzzie gang "Mum" for Mom.

The one that stands out to me right now is "Grouping" what the heck is that? I've been reading all the postings on grouping but do not have a clue what that means. I have my embellishments and other items in groups or individual files..... Is that what you mean by "grouping".

    Heb-Auf?

I will start this discussion out....... I saw an interesting layout in the gallory. I love it! It has the meaning of this German tradition..... I appreciated the explaination or the meaning of Heb-Auf in the layout but My question is. How long does that tree stay on the rafters of the house? Surely it isn't left there?????

When I hear/read 'grouping' when applied to SBM, I think of when you select several embellishments and then click 'group'. Now the embellishments will move and rotate as if they were one object. SBM will not allow you to resize them as one object, but some other programs will. Also sometimes you can copy and paste the group. Saves ALOT of time when you group objects.
