The September 2006 issue of The Groove - Scrapbook MAX's fabulous monthly newsletter - is here! If you haven't already signed up (for free) for The Groove, you can do so at:
Every month, you'll be emailed a link to the current issue of The Groove, which is always full of tips, tricks, ideas and inspirations to help make your great digital scrapbooks even groovier. September's theme is-you guessed it!-"Back to School". We can't wait to see all your creative school-themed layout submissions for our "Back to School" contest (ends on September 21, 2006 - so get crackin'!). Here's an excerpt from our "Musings" column on Page 1 to get the back to school imagery flowing:
"...There is always a change in the air on the first day of school. A sort of chill – not unpleasant – that signals the end of summer. Like the school bell, it calls us back. Back to freshly sharpened pencils and brand new stacks of paper and desks impeccably organized. Back to chalk boards with the new teacher’s name written on it in large, even letters. Back to friends and recess and lunch boxes and the playground and improvised soccer tournaments and skipping rope... "
