Help downloading

I've bought sometemplates and other scrapebook packages from "The Daily Scrap". Could someone please tell me how to get the stuff into the Scrapbook Max folders. I tried putting .smt at the end of the file before I downloaded. It says that the template has been added but I can't find it anywhere! I have a lot of zipped files on my desktop just waiting to be installed. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Cordell, welcome to the forum....

Smt is a file format generated by SBM, so just putting it at the end of other files will not work. You need to import the elements in individually, or use your Windows Explorer to put them in the programs' embellishment folders. There are some friends here that also put a folder on the desktop on their computer and just drag and drop the images directly into Max.

I'm sure one of them will pop in here shortly and put their 2 cents in... Maybe a quarter what will inflation and all...

Thanks Granny for the info. I was hoping there was an easier way. I have no idea what happened to the files that I added smt to the end of. When I try and open them I get a message that says they were installed successfully but they won't open.

If you have the original downloads, change the extension back to zip, and unzip them with WinZip. If you need help with folders and files, you may want to download a tutorial I made on this subject.
