Fonts and non Scrapbook Max scrappy stuff!

When you down load kits etc from sites how do you get them into scrapbook Max. I can't find anything referring to it but I've probably not noticed. Also....I have downloaded some smashingtemplates on here thank you , but when I have a play they tell me I don't have the fonts on my lappy. Any advice gratefully received. I am no good with techie language! x

What I generally do is to unzip kits into their own folder under "C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Gallery\Images\Embellishments". This way they show up as a group when I go to add an embellishment by clicking on the heart icon. This also keeps all the kits in one place that I can remember to browse to when I'm looking for something. These kit folders that I create I usually name "Designer Name - Name of Kit". My memory ain't what it used to be and this helps to remember who did what.

As for the fonts, write down the name of the font that Scrapbook MAX! says you don't have and then Google that font name and see what you come up with. If you need a program to manage installing fonts search the forums here for font management. There was a thread that had links to a couple of good font management programs.
