Difference between .smt & .smb Files?

What's the difference between .smt & .smb files? What do these letters stand for?

When I download them to my harddrive, where does each type go?

I do not know the answer but will be lurking to see what others post here! I was adding the wrong one to some templets that was trying to download. I was using smb and was told my another member that I should use smt. I never figured out why? So, on that note, I will wait to see what our smart ones on here say!

In a nutshell .smt files are templates. That is complete pages with backgrounds, mats, photo holders, embies, etc. that you can use when creating new albums or adding pages to existing albums. You'll find these in the Templates directory of your main program directory or in the case of downloaded templates in the "My Documents\Scrapbook MAX!\Templates" folder.

.smb files are Embellishment packs. These are individual embellishments or groups of embellishments that you can add to existing pages in your albums. When you install an .smb file it unpacks each of the embellishments into sub-folders located under the Gallery folder located in your main program directory.

DANG------- Thanks for the help

That would also explain why I got a few embellishments show up in my templetes. Example, someone posted some beautiful seashells and also some word art for weddings.......... when they downloaded, they went to my templetes.
