    1) I wouldn't change to Photoshop Elements. Photoshop can do so much more. And if you were going to learn Elements the stuff you did learn would be almost the same in Photoshop. So why buy Elements when you've got the real thing? There are many free tutorials out there on the internet. I just started Photoshop about a year ago and I am doing more than I ever dreamed.

    2) Have you checked the Template and Embellishment Archives at this site? There are many, many embies there. It is so much easier to find them there than by going through all the old posts like I did when I first found this site.

I see what you mean! That is a great template. I joined for a months freebie and have already exceeded the download limit for the month! Its a great site though. I think I might join. I can't wait for the shop to open here though!

Ooooh.....thats a wonderful site. I've had a nosey around and they like Scrapbook Max...so much you can get it free! They recommend photoshop elements though. I've got photoshop (which I can't use yet!) Is elements much easier and is it worth me changing? I am very tempted to join this site.

There is a very good selection that comes with Scrapbook Max. Most of it is on the CD. A lot of people forget to install the content pack after the program is installed, so that may be a place to look first. But she (Alpha female) is right, a lot of the stuff comes from other sites. Scrapbook max is very versatile and will allow you to import most image files. Because it is so easy to work with I will use stuff from all over and use this program for my layouts and do the drag and drop thing from within another folder in which I store all my embellishments and backgrounds etc. And also to print and publish with.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi there!

A lot of what we use comes from other sites, or some people here are clever enough to make their own!

Here are some sites that offer freebies.

http://www.sue-owens.com/PI-Objects.html but there are LOTS more out there and I'm sure others will have LOTS more!

What I do is save them all together in one file and then drag and drop the elements into SB MAX.

If you do use anything and decide you want to share it then you need to make sure that the copyright of anything outside of SB MAX allows you to share it. If in doubt then show but don't share the elements.
