How many templates do you get on the CD?

I received my CD and I installed the content pack. But I only have 24 templates. Is that all there are? I notice that on the CD container is says:
-Thousands of pre-designed layout templates
-Plus add-on packs and downloads at www.scrapbookmax.com

Did you get more than 24 templates?

This link will show you the templates included on the CD. You can download more from the links in the sharing corner. There's a place for templates and another for embellishments. When you download, click on "open" and they will install into the program.

But I think I am missing a couple of them, I will have to check.

Do not worry about templates as before you know it you will have more then you can dream. So many nice people make them for you.Just check daily and you will find lots os tempplates. The C.D. is truly amazing. You will luv it.

Hi Sambrook,

There should be 30 multi-page templates in total included with the program. Did you download the mini content pack that would have been sent to you the day you ordered? Some people miss that link. If you didn't, click on the 'Contact Us' button at the top of this page and request a new download link. Include your name and order reference number.

The DVD case actually says: "Thousands of pre-designed templates, papers, and embellishments."

The "thousands" includes the 4000 embellishments also included with the software.

Thanks for your replies. Yes, I do have 30 templates but I guess I expected more. Yes, I see what you mean about the thousands of templates, papers and embellishments.

I took the statement on the CD case to mean that there were thousands of templates with papers and embellishements included with them.

I did download the mini content pack when I first ordered the software. Are the templates on the mini content pack not on the CD?

Hello,

There are 26 templates included on the CD, and an additional 5 (4 x content templates, and 1 x blank page template) installed in the software.

The content in the ESD pack is duplicate content from the CD content pack to hold you over until the CD arrives. Once you've installed the content from the CD, and the program, you have everything that you purchased.

I have to say I got the 30 templates but in no way did I receive thousands in total of the rest. A couple of hundred maybe. I have got a fantastic collection from the forums but I should say a couple of hundred maximum in total with the cd. This does seem to be common problem! Do you think we are just numpty's and doing something wrong. Any advice Max gratefully received x

Don't sweat the small stuff

I had my program for about two month now and deleted most of the standard templates so don't worry about the number. I discovered a wealth of new templates on this discussion forum and I just LOVE creating my own. I think I only used one stock template so far. The rest were my own design.

I did ....promise ...install the content pack. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to make sure.I did mention earlier that I have an empty folder that says smb embellishments but the reply Gracie was that there was no such folder. I just accepted it as I wouldn't know how to put a folder in Max. It's no big deal as I love the forum, I would just like to know I'm not totally round the twist!

I have installed SM on our famly pc and have counted up everything. Apart from the templates I have counted, including every number and every alphabet letter a total of 1,696 embellishments, tags etc. It's more than I thought. Can you confirm if this is correct. It woud be nice to be able to answer this frequently asked question re: content. Thanks Gracie
