PNG templates

Hi everyone. I maybe should be posting in templates but I have a template downloading question. I am still new and learning so thanks firsthand for your help.

I have found some freebie templates from some scrapbook max forums that I like and they have the extension of png and not smt like all my others do. Can I resave this as a smt so I can use it as a template? Otherwise, the template is saved in embellishment folder and when I open it, it appears but very small and when I enlarge it, it becomes very, very fuzzy. Help please.

Hi Sherri....

PNG is not a template, is a graphics format like jpg or bmp, but with a transparent background. Changing the extension at the end will not work. You must import it into Max by using the embellishment option, or drag and drop into your work area.
