just starting and have a couple ????'s

I am just now starting to try this out and my first question is:

#1--In the scrapbook max software, is everything you create recognized as a 8x11 layout? Because if you buy your supplies and do it the traditional way, a lot of the paper is larger. So when I create an album with lots of pages, I want to know how it is gonna look.

#2--I have lots of scrapbooking pages from my wife. What will they look like if I scan them and use them as my backgrounds? I know I can't get all the page on the screen, because my scanner will only scan 8x11, which then refers me back to question #1.

Help is greatly appreciated.

1.If you go to Page then settings and then click size you can do a page size as you decide.

2. I don't know! I am sure you can though paople scan childrens drawings to put on their pges.So many people know so many tricks someone will know.

Scan 12X12 pages

You can scan 12X12 pages if that is what you mean. You would just have to do two scans for each page, scan left side then scan right side. You should then be able to bring them into Scrapbook Max and let them overlap in the middle to make one 12X12 page. I have done this but I bought the two scans into Photoshop and made one page of it.
