  • question regarding burning to CD

This may be a stupid question but when you put a scrapbook on a CD can you put it into a DVD player to look at? I tried at home and my DVD player says my disc is not readable or something to that effect. Is there a certain kind of CD I need to use.

Yes, you need to use a dvd burner with a dvd-r disc. I tried it that way too but until i bought the right disc, it wouldn't work I hope I helped a bit but I am sure there are other people here with more techie skills than me that can help you.

Actually, Yes you can burn to a regular CD, but I think to play it on a DVD player you may have to burn it is VCD format.

I read the chapter but it didn't help

I got reports from several parents that the VCDs didn't work on some DVD players. The DVD player has to have PLAYBACK mode. I couldn't get my DVD to record on my DVD disk. Will look for DVD-r. I've been using CD-r for MOVIE, VCD, and SLIDESHOW and still had same problem. Some players played it and some didn't..You might want to give the folks an up link and store it in your GALLERY..Looks better!!Good Luck!!

I have an Emerson DVD player and the CDs I bought are HP CD-R. I did a search on the internet and it said my DVD player should play CDs.
