The only way I can do circular text (& NOTHING as good as the example you posted) is to create the wording in MS Picture-It or similar & save as png format. I think most of the photo~editing packages will do this simple version.

Like you, I wish I knew how to do more elaborate work!!!

That's the only way that I do it too. However, mine are flat. How do you get the 3 dimensional look? I sure would like to know how to do that.

          Makeyesup...........
At the time of creating the circle, I just applied a shadow
          OR
When importing the 'circle' into SBM,
when it is on your page
copy it & change the colour
          then you can layer it.
          Making sense?????

If you do not have an image editor like Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro, and you don't want to spend the time learning those programs, there is one other way to do it....

Let me know what saying you need, the size and the color, and I'll make it for you.

It's also possible that the Gimp does this. Is a free program and those all kinds of things. I have to look into that.

            Well, hope this helps.

Thanks Mary, I'll do some experimenting with the layering. Tried the shadow before and it never seemed to look right.. Will try that again too.

Hi Granny, Did you manage to look at the Gimp??
I went to their website & couldn't (for the life of me) see how to download (UK).
                      Am I thick OR WHAT!!!

Also would like to learn circle text

Just like Liyie, I have admired circle text and would like to know how to do it. Perhaps we can pursuade MA3 or Makeyesup to share the technique or the name of the program with us.
This is the page by Makeyesup that caught my eye during the Thanksgiving contest and made me curious to learn how it was done.

                        http://www.scrapbookmax.com/gallery/...=4751&cat=1155

In my 6.0 version of Photoshop, I can bend or wave the text but can't write in circles. Only Microsoft Word Word Art can do this and not as nice as the ones in the scrapbook pages.

AsI said before, I am able to make circular text in MS Picture-It (a free program I got when I bought buy laptop).
I have used this EXACTLY as shown in the screenshot.

I am just waiting for delivery of Photoshop Elements ~ hope it's as good as everyone makes out????????!!!!

                            MH51....

I downloaded the Gimp and even the help manual, and istalled it. Spend quite sometime looking for info on how to do circular text with it, but either I'm blind, or it does not support that feature.

I also tried PhotoShop Elements, but I have an old version, don't know if the new ones do it. Probably. The other option is to get Paint Shop Pro.

Sorry I could not be more helpful. My offer still stands, if you want to tell me what you neeed, I'll try to make it for you.

                            Have a great week.
