  • Help!!!!!! please

While I was working on a LO, scrapbook max crashed and went off and now when I open up a project I don't have a toolbar. All I have is the page tabs for the different pages. Do I need to re-install the software or could it just be hiding somewhere. Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!

I don't know, I'm always reinstalling! It doesn't do any damage.
Now I'm sure someone has better advice than that!

Do you have menus? If so, look under View->Toolbar and see if the toolbar options are checked.

      Hope this helps.

No, I don't have any menus, only tabs for different pages. Looks like I'll have to reinstall. Can I just reinstall and it will fix it or do I have to uninstall it first then reinstall. Thanks for your help.

I'm a firm believer in uninstalling first. It gives the program AND Windows a chance to tidy things up first. You will not lose any of your albums.

Yep I should have said uninstall first and then reinstall.

                Definitely uninstall first.

As well, though the Scrapbook MAX! uninstaller doesn't delete your project files or custom content, it's always a good idea to back those things up regularily to ensure you don't loose anything.

To back up your projects, back up this folder:
                My Documents\Scrapbook MAX!\Projects

To back up templates you've downloaded:
                My Documents\Scrapbook MAX!\Templates

To back up embellishments, etc. that you've downloaded:
                Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Gallery
Note: *all* of your embellishments are stored here, not just ones you've downloaded

                Desmond.
