Help.. Lost templates & pages

    Help.. Lost templates & pages

    I opened SBM this morning wanting to work on a project & I lost all my downloaded templates from SBM & scrapbooks I have worked on.. If I do a search on the ones that I remember the file names, I can call them up & resave & they are put back into the file.. This is frustrating for all the hours I have downloaded & don't remember names. Is this a commom occurance with SBM? This is the 2nd time I have lost items incuding ones I have purchased & have reloaded. Is there something I am missing, I am confused . Thanks, TLT

    Oh, Sorry to hear this..I have Norton Systemworks that keeps my Active X files in check..You may still have these items on your hard drive unless you have some kind of virus or worm problem. I've never had a problem with SBM doing that. I feel for ya!! Good Luck!!

      Try removing SM via add and remove programmes in My Computer. Then reinstall. I have done this so many times and you don't loose anything you have created. Good luck!

        You may have to go into Cdrive and look around. They are probably in there somewhere.Good luck.

          Are you moving folders around on your computer? Sometimes when you are trying to organize, folders get moved and they are still there, but the program can't locate them.

            I don't know how to tell you to re-instate the templates, but I can tell you how to quickly find out if they are on your computer.

            Go here and download Picasa 2 and install. Then it loads all of your pictures and you can see what you have. I have found "lost" pictures this way. I hope this will help you; I know you are frustrated.

                have you run defrag lately, if not run it...it puts all the files back together for each programme
