Can anyone recommend a photo editing suite that I can purchase for using with my scrapbooking, one that will allow me also to do my own embellishments like so many of you have done. I am also looking for the programme to be able to remove background objects from photos.

For BEGINNERS, Gimp is the best to start. Then I went to Adope Photoshop Elements 4..then Corel Paint Shop ProX and here is where I'll stay. Unless the sky opens up and starts raining money...Love Corel PSP the more I learn. Not easy program to learn. Extracting is a feature with Gimp. And gimp is FREE.
