I'm very new to scrapbooking and jumping in to the electronic mode. My question is when I get to publishing how will size of final page effect the page as seen on the computer screen. I was going to go to 12x12 hard copy but I am concerned that a printed copy of the computer screen will be distorted by that. Am I worrying about nothing or should I go to 8x11? Thank you

Hello there!
Thanks for your post and welcome!
Can you clarify a bit about what you're trying to accomplish for your final product or product? Do you have a printer that prints 12 x 12 images - or are you planning to have your 12 x 12 pages printed by a professional service? Or are you trying to achieve something else for your final look and format?
As you've seen, Scrapbook MAX! allows you to design and publish at many different sizes, but what you choose really depends on your end goal. With a bit more information, I may be better able to help.
Thanks!

Hello Carberry!
If you want to print out 12 x 12 pages through a printing service, your best option is probably to set your pages to 12 x 12 as you create your layouts, then when you are ready, publish the pages as .jpgs, at full size and at highest quality. To publish a scrapbook project, go to File > Publish to> Images and from there choose the image format and quality you'd like to print at.
The images that are created/published can then be uploaded to your favourite print service or possibly physically taken to your print shop on a USB key, etc (you'll have to check with your print service to see what image formats they take, what size they print at, and how they want to receive your images, etc.).
Hope that helps!Last edited by Karin; 07-13-2020, 11:51 AM.

When you are designing your pages you can set the size and dimensions by going to Page > Settings and clicking on the Size tab. You'll see a variety of pre-set page sizes and you can also set custom sizes. It's best to set this before laying out your page; if you change it after you've designed a page, you might stretch or distort the look of your page or affect the quality, especially if going from smaller to bigger or from 'rectangle' to 'square'.
