I have another question. In playing around with the trial version, I see that many templates use a patterened paper without a solid border surrounding the pictures. Is there a way to put a solid border around them? For me, pictures against patterns don't look well......too busy and the picture doesn't pop out. Thanks. Verleen

Yep, there is an icon for adding a paper scrap. Or you can add a paper scrap object to the page by choosing Object > Paper Scrap from the menu, or by selecting the object type from the right-click context menu.
You can adjust the size and shape to suit your needs. You can even make it more or less transparent as well. There are icon's to move it in back of or in front of other items.

Thank you for your replies. It makes sense. It seems the trial version is very limited. I was trying to change the embellishments and there are practically now choices available. My biggest problem is linking up with photos and very slow speed.

Holy moly Charlesanna, I can answer this and I just found this site and program last night. I downloaded the trial version and have played with it. Resizing photos? No problem, the program does it automatically....or leads you right into what to do. If you have a picture that doesn't quite fit, the program gives you a grid around your picture so you can resize it or move it, so that it fits into the template. Its so easy.
As for your second question, I'd like to know too. I don't know the answer. It is always a good idea to back up everything you have onto a CD in case your computer crashes. Do I always remember to do this? Nope.

Charlesanna... Welcome to the forum!
To resize the object, right click on it, then at the bottom of the pop up window there is a choice "Keep Aspect". Click on it to deselect it. Now, you can adjust the object any way you want to.
No, you don't have to pay again. Just reinstall the program.
If I'm mistaken, don't worry, one of the experts will be along shortly to set me straight, they always do. No respect!!!

If the computer crashes and you lost the trial version, you can download it for free again. If you bought the program, you either have the cd already or will be getting it soon.

In the trial version, there is very little choices as to embellishments. Will there be more in the purchased version? Or do I need to download them? On the trial version, there are wood block letters, bubbles, butterfly kisses, corner crazy, paper dolls, photo objects, tag town and work play. That's it.
