scrolling screen problem

This is really upsetting me! Ever since I fixed my computer a few weeks ago, I started having my screen scroll when I am typing. I can not tell you how many messages that I was typing then ZAP they would be gone before I could post them. Appearently there must be a setting that needs to be set so the screen doesn't scroll.

Sometimes when I am typing it suddenly flies to the top and the bottom of the page displays itself. Is that what happens to you. It is very annoying.

I then lose what I was typing. It rolls back and forth.

I also have this problem ~ mainly when I'm adding a comment to LOs in the Gallery.

It sounds like we're all having that. Any idea as to what causes it and how to stop it?

Just as I told you earlier that it only happens on my laptop, it did it on my pc too. I have no idea what does that. Maybe some who does can let us know.

That used to happen to me too, I am trying to think what the problem was and for the life of me I cannot remember, I have been racking this brain all day, the only thing I can think of is maybe you have to many windows open at the same time, Try that closing some, if that doesnt work, then I am sorry! I just cant remember, it is driving me nuts, maybe Desmond will know tomorrow!

It is an automated Junk filter.. when your post is nonsense it is programmed to roll it out of the way so no one has to read it !!
and wants to frustrate you to give up trying to post until you can say something worthwhile LOL

I so love Moonbeans answer but, Could it be that you have your Numbers key unlocked and when you hit say the number three your really hitting pgdown? I haven't had this problem but tried to think why it would happen. Hope this is the answer. - Or would this be just tooo obvious?

Interesting.......and frustrating to those it has happened to. Its never happened to me....knocking on wood. And I've posted a lot of nonsense things. Curious to know what it is and how to fix it.
