That is a good price. I've been debating on whether to get it. I've heard a lot of negatives about it, esp with how it organizes files and photos. People said its a nightmare compared to the earlier versions. I've heard the Photoshop Elements 3.0 is the best, but I can't find it anywhere. I have PSE 2.0.

Does anyone have and use PSE 5.0? If so, what do you think of it?

I have PSE 5 and like it very much. It is perfect for scrapbooking. It has layouts , frames and even some background papers. Very easy to use.

I just purchased it. The $20 rebate is through a credit security company and you have to give them your credit card info for a 30 day trial. Its one of those 'deals'/scams that I opt out of. But still with the $30 off, it is a good deal. What I don't like is that they don't give you the tax and shipping cost until later via an email. At the point of purchase you really don't know how much they are charging you. That worries me. I have always found Staples to be a very unscruptulous company. In the past, I had to fight to get every coupon offer due to me. Just a warning for everyone. I'm taking another chance. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I guess everyone has different opinions. I have ordered a lot through Staples and never had a problem.

The rebate form that I have is from Adobe, not a credit security company. I picked it up when I was reviewing before placing the order.

Also knew the tax and shipping charges before I finalized my order.

Isn't that odd that you and I got different purchasing screens? And different coupon offers? Really, really strange. I've been Staples-ized again.....lol.

I get a sense that you think I'm making this up, because this was not 'opinion'. What I posted is what happened. In fact, the more I think of it, I'm really offended with your 'opinion' comment. I did not get an Adobe coupon as you 'say' you did. I can play that game too. It doesn't feel good, does it? To get my $20 rebate coupon, I had to sign up for a credit reporting company or something like that on a trial basis (for 30 days), after which I would be charged for the service. They asked for my credit card information and details when I clicked on the rebate link on the Staples site. And I would get a free credit report. And I have had problems collecting on Staples rebate, coupons and awards in the past. To get these automatic rebates, I eventually had to go to a Staples store with my documented evidence and the store manager took care of it.

Because of what has been said, I called Staples about this. They said they had a 'hitch' in their web link-up that has been fixed this morning by their techies. And they then gave me the form for the Adobe $20 rebate.

Just some information about me. I never make things up. Honesty and integrity have been a serious part of my life. I was an investigative auditor in my career which, in part, molded who I am. My children use to joke about how I wouldn't let them use a company-issued pencil or paper off my desk. They had to use the ones I purchased for them.

Now perhaps it would be good if we made peace.

Makeyesup, I feel really bad over our misunderstanding. I am grateful for the info about the great price. I've been looking at this software for awhile now. Thank you very much for the hot tip. My comment about what happened with the Staples site had nothing to do with you. I hope you realize that.

Don't feel bad. There was no misunderstanding and my comments weren't personal - just wanted to post my experiences with the site. Glad you were able to get the proper rebate slip. I had been watching prices on the software for quite some time and just wanted to pass the info along to anyone that could use it.

SBM is a great site for info and friendships.
