Question on PSE transparencies

I made a text file in PSE 2.0 with a transparent background. However, when I drop it onto a SBM page, it has a white background. Can someone tell me what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks a bunch.

Save the text in .png format.
Try it.

Thank you Omajo. That worked. After I saved it as a png, PSE attached a psd extension. But it works. Now I have to play around with text size. This was a vertical text file. When I downloaded it onto the page, it was weeeeee tiny....lol. Trial and error. Some day, I going to try to create some text into a circle.
