Question with SHAPES

I have been playing with some of the shapes and have noticed that with some of them, I get the color of the paper bleeding into the transparent areas. The transparent areas are not always totally transparent. If I shrink the shape down then sometimes that bleeding will disappear but not always.

Does this happen to anyone else?

onie that happens when the shape has been saved as a trasparant png, when this happens to me i just go into properties and click the shadow back on and off or off and on - that normally clears the bleeding

i now save all my shapes by reversing the colours and saving as jpegs as they work better as jpegs

That happens to me, too. Sometimes the picture shows through clearly but clouds over with time. I don't quite understand the fix you described, Fiona. I've just stopped trying to use them.

you can do a quick fix by right clicking on the shape and then click the shadow on/off then click it back to your original setting

or

you can take the shape into a graphics programme, change all the black areas to white and then fill all the transparent areas with black, then save the shape as a jpeg....this stops the shadowing totally

I will say that I LOVE all the shapes! I have made a bunch of folders for my shapes too! You all are so creative and so thoughtful for sharing them with all of us!

Fiona, I do appologize for the spelling goof. I will tell you a little secret. You all know me as Onie but my real name is Iona. Very simular to yours! You just have the "F" in front of my real name.

i was nearly Iona....but the registar picked up on the spelling mistake -dad was a little worse for wear when he registered me!

mum was surprized when she got my birth certificate as she thought i was going to be katie! lol

Iona is a lovely name means the same as fiona which is fair, white & pure in irish just as we both are

My dad thought my mom was going to die giving birth. I was the first child and my mom was on 15 yrs old. My parents were married very young. Mom was 14 and dad was 18. I was born a year later. My dad decided to name me after my mom (Iona) and my mom wanted me named after my dad (Gene) so I ended up with "Iona Jean" Of course they had 3 boys after me.
