No Email Received

I didn't get an email OR I may have deleted it from SPAM folder. My SPAM folder gets auto deleted each time I open my email. I get about 50-100 of those emails several times a day.

Can we request the email to be resent or can someone forward it to me?

Will this new edition automatically install into our existing program with templetes or will we have 2 icons (one for the original and one for the wedding)????

It's OK Onie, I've seen the other thread and know what e-mail now. I didn't receive one either and I've checked my spam - not that I'm crying over it.

Hello,

There are a few reasons why you wouldn't receive an email from us regarding this update:

1. If at any point in the past you requested to be unsubscribed from our email list
2. If your email server doesn't like our email server (a variety of reasons)
3. If your email server deleted the message as 'spam' before it hit your inbox at all
4. If your email software classified the message as spam, and you deleted it, or just haven't found it yet

Those are the most common reasons. Unfortunately there's no way to resend the email without sending it to everyone again ... and there'd be no guarentees that you'd get it anyways!

So what I would request is that you send an email to desmond[at]scrapbookmax[dot]com, requesting Scrapbook MAX! Wedding Edition details (be sure to mention that you own the 'classic' software ... and if possible include your order id / email address you ordered with, etc.

I did not get the email either. However, never get the email announcements for the monthly newsletter either. Have registered many times too. My spam is reviewed daily and aol does not delete without putting it into spam.

Could never figure out why Scrapbook emails do not get to me. Receive emails from the other scrapbook sites that I am registered on.

AOL is one of those companies that is hit or miss for us. They're very tight-lipped about how their spam systems / servers work, so adjustments on our end aren't easy to figure out.

We do have an AOL account here that we test with ... we are able to send emails to it, so the problem isn't AOL as a whole, but just specific accounts (or specific AOL servers).

I'm always looking at ways to improve / fix our email system, but unfortunately it's not an easy task!

Dear Desmond,
I never get the emails or the Grove either, and I have registered for the Groove several times.

I don't know if they go to spam; I have never found any there.

Is there an address that I could put in my Allowed List, just in case?

Newsletters will come from newsletter[at]scrapbookmax[dot]com.

During every mailing we do get error reports back indicating failed connections between our email server and the destination mail server(s). We've tried to minimize the amount of unsent emails by retrying 3 times per mailing, but that doesn't always work.

Unfortunately this is one of those things that's extremely hard to diagnose ... no matter how many accounts we test with, mail always gets through when we're working on it ... kind of like taking your car to the shop -- it works poorly before and after, but behaves when it's there.

You can always send me an email (desmond[at]scrapbookmax[dot]com) if you're not receiving our stuff. IN the short term, i can get you whatever email you've missed. In long term, if enough people send emails in, perhaps i'll be able to track down a pattern/reason.

Do we have to purchase the whole program (if we already have scrapbookmax original) or can we just purchase the contents pack! I have only just purchased sbm so my hubby would kill me if I have to purchase another. I have checked out the preveiw and I want it so bad.

Indigo Rose have kindly offered existing SBM owners an introductory 'special buy price' of $us29.95 (a little over $36.00 for us). I'm not sure if there is a time limit on the special price - I would think so (?a month?) but don't know for sure. Drop the BIG hint - Mother's Day is only a couple of weeks away and (besides being something YOU want) it is the kind of gift that will be appreciated by the whole family for generations to come - got to be better than a new toaster (it's Mothers day not kitchen day!)!!!!!

I've been told that a gift which plugs in is a lousy gift to give for birthdays, christmas, and any other "special" holiday. Prolly good advice, with few exceptions!
