  • Avatars - did ya know?

That you can adjust the page size of your scrapbook max down to the 80 x 80 pixels to make your own avatars?

I only played with it quickly last night - but it was EASY

Wow, thanks for sharing that! I tried to make an avatar for another site & it was huge! I'll have to shrink it with Scrapbook Max!
    thanks, Rhoda

Okay, call me stupid, but I can't get this to work. Here's what I'm doing:

I set up a new blank page and inserted a picture. Then I resized the page to 80x80 pixels. The picture looks terribly blurry.

              What am I doing wrong?

              Thanks!

80 x 80 is a very small picture. Scrapbook Max automatically shows your page in full view (fit to all) so that is why the quality looks low. Change the % to 100 in the bottom right hand corner of SBMax and you will see your image as it will appear at normal size.

BTW an 80 x 80 image will show at around 900-1000% if you have your software set to full screen.

Hey that is pretty cool, I just made my custom avatar using Scrapbook MAX. I found it easier to create the look in a normal size page (8 x 8) and then reduce the size to 80 pixels x 80 pixels.

Thanks, Adam! I got it to work. Now I just have to get off my behind and purchase the full version!

What's cool about the internet is that you don't even have to!

                      (...get off your...a-hem...behind, that is...)
