What Is This???????

I am getting this Error Message...... "Invalid XML file:C:\Program Files\Scrapbook Max\Data\_help_map.XML " What the heck is this? I only get it in this program and it started when I installed the program. It comes up often and is starting to bug the crap out of me.

Also, in a recent post, a mention of a "Users Guide" was made..... Where is that? I guess it's online somewhere, but I have no idea where.

Hi there!

I'll let someone else jump in regarding your first question - not sure what to tell you.

However, you can find the User's Guide in the Help File in the toolbar. Just go to Help > Scrapbook MAX! User's Guide in SBM.

Hello,

It sounds like something didn't get installed correctly -- please uninstall and reinstall (you can download a fresh copy of the trial from here).

Please post back here if that doesn't solve your problem!

I have the CD

I am fully installed via CD. I already attempted to reinstall the program but I'm still getting that message.

Try deleting your _help_map.xml file, and replacing it with this one (Attached -- you'll have to unzip it).

You can find that file here:
C:\Program Files\Scrapbook MAX!\Data

This file is working (directly from my system) -- so if it doesn't work, we know it's not actually that file.

I deleted the file and I downloaded the zip file you sent. After I unzipped it, I attempted to put it in the same location as the other file. I will need to reboot to see if that did the trick or not. Will keep you informed!

Here is the original cry for help on this Error. I am afraid to uninstall and reinstall. I started but cancelled when I saw all those files going through the process. I was afraid that I would delete all my stuff in my gallory settings and my templets/scrapbooks. Please reassure me before I start the uninstall!

You felt something didn't get installed properally in the past.

You can uninstall and reinstall -- your created projects won't be removed.
