  • question about templates

Ok, I know this was just asked a little while ago, but I'm still a little confused. How exactly do you use a grey scaled template that you download off another site. Some say they are for photoshop, which I don't have, but they might also say they come in a png and you just slide the picture behind them. I can't seem to make this work! Help!

    hiya

greyscaled templates from others sites come in two forms nornally, a flattened jpeg or a layered psd or psp file,

to use the jpeg you will need a grahics program -
paintsho pro, photoshop, realdraw etc there should be photoimpressions on your pc (normally comes with windows software free) you can use the bucket fill on each the areas to colour or you could download Gimp which is a freeware graphics editor program that a lot of the members use

the layered templates will need photoshop or paintshop pro as these have each section on a different layer so that you can manipulate each layer

    hope that helps

ps the greyscaled templates that are given/sold on this site are made in the Max program so much easier to use

oh and i forgot the png versions....these are one page pngs nornally with the photo area cut out - for these just open scrapbook max, bring the image in as an embellishment and stretch to fit the page, place you photo over the photo area holes and then bring the png image to the top
