  • Papers, Frames and Buttons

I was playing around with textures and came up with some papers. Then made some frames and a few buttons with them. First time making Buttons, Not perfect but there is a first time for everything.

I have 6 zip files here. I will put the samples up in a minute.

Samples to go with zip files.

Here are the samples to look at for the zips I put in above. Hope someone can use them.

I had used one of the papers and frames on a layout that I did "Nick holding Missy" if anyone saw it.

There is more paper in the zips, Blues Greens and some yellow. I just did one sample. I think there are about 20 papers. 8 Frames and 4 buttons.

      Very nice! Thank you!

Do you suppose you could give us a little tutorial on how to zip items to post here? I don't have a clue and I bet a lot of others are in the same boat.
It's so much easier to add the new embies for the Jan challenge to the kit if they are zipped and you can unzip and place them all in one folder to use.
I can't figure out how to save them off the templates. I tried moving some of them onto a new page to save, but SBM didn't seem to like that idea and closed on me!

All your help and creations are very much appreciated!

          Thanks for the compliments.

Linda, I am not the greatest at doing tutorials, Hopefully this won't sound like gobblie-gook!

You can move items from templets in the January Challenge to your new layout by opening two sessions of SBM and have them side by side, then copy and paste what you want from one to the other.

To zip up items you make for others to use This is what I did:

Go to the folder you have saved your item in.

Right click on the item you made, look for and click on "send to" and select "compressed (zipped) Folder". The zipped folder will show up in the folder you are working in.

At that point you can copy and paste items into the zipped folder.

When you are done, go to the forum in the Embellishments section.

          Open a new Thread.

          Scroll down to Additional Options

          Click on Manage Atachments

Browse for your zipped folder, click on it to select it.

After it is selected and shows in the window next to the Browse button,
          Click on the Upload button.

If your items are not to large it will be uploaded to the area of your new thread that you have started. (If it is too large, you will have to go back and resize. I made all of mine small in order to get them in)

Finish filling in the information about your new embellishments in the message of the new thread. Make sure you fill in the Title Section above the message area.

You can Preview your post first to make sure it looks ok. Then click on the Submit Reply.

To add images so others can see what they look like you can go back to Manage Attachments, then browse for the item you made, click on it and bring it in like you did the Zipped folder, only this time it will show the picture instead of a line with the link to the zip.

(Instead of pulling all my papers in separately for people to see, I made a layout with the papers in it to display them. I sent them to Published images first, then when I browsed, I searched the published images and selected that layout.) I only did one set, there were actually about 20 papers.

I hope this makes sense. If I have left anything out, someone please feel free to add it in.
