  • ribbon embies and tutorial for psp

i think ive sussed ribbons at last

for those with psp open a white image (this ensures no holes in the final image)

size the image to the size you want the ribbon (i make mine portrait)
fill with the pattern/texture/colour you want
    add a layer
fill with a gradient to give a shiney colour (i used greys for these) also use a texture (i used plaid for these)
    now for the fun bit
go to select tool (in the same section as the magic wand)
select a small strip by the edge og the image
go to effects. texture effects, blinds> set to width 10, opacity 100%, choose colour to match ribbon colours, check horizontal is on> ok and you have an edge
do same to other side and save as a png......you have ribbon

    have fun

    oops nearly forgot the download

Thank you. This is really helpful. If I may make a suggestion. On the last step, rather than having to do the same to the other side, you can just duplicate the layer, then go to image, mirror, and it will be done for you automatically. Saves the extra work.

Thank you again for sharing, Angel!
