Template: BabyScraps 1 and 2

Scrapbook Max has asked PrincessCrafts to test their software and to consider providing new template packs for the software. I must say that we are impressed with how easy it is to create really beautiful digital scrapbooks with this software.

Here's our first two 8.5x11" templates for you. These are from our new BabyScraps.com collection.

In babyscraps 1, we just took one of our templates and inserted it like any other photo or image on top of a plain pink background. The two frames and the puzzle pieces are transparent and will allow you to put photos behind them in the layers.

For babyscraps 2, we used one of our solid background templates as the background on the page. Now you can put anything you want on top.

To use this template, click on the link in the "Attached Files" section below (the .smt files). When your Web browser asks you what you want to do with the file, click the "Open" button (Internet Explorer or Opera browsers) or choose "Open with: Scrapbook MAX!" and click OK (Firefox browser). Once the file has downloaded, you should see a message that tells you that the template has been successfully installed. It will now be available the next time that you create a new project or page.

Thank you for the two adorable layouts! I just downloaded them. They will be fun to use! This program is easy, isn't it? I used to be a paper scrapper until I found this one and now am totally addicted to digital!

Colorado Autumn...

They say this weekend will be the most colorful of the season. We had our first frost yesterday morning and it's getting cooler every day. Can't say we are looking forward to winter, but we'll take the cooler fall days.

I'll give you an example of what I meant about Max templates. If this Sweet Baby layout were a true Max template, the frames would be moveable, the puzzle pieces and the embellishments would be moveable, and the background would be resizeable. (I usually use 8X8 pages and Max templates will readjust the background and even the embellishments. Also, I would then be able to copy those elements to a second page to make a matching page on the right. I almost always do two matching pages when I do a scrapbook, so that everything you see at once matches. I often rotate or flip the background to do that, and if the elements are all attached, it does not work. Those are reasons why I seldom use your pages as is. Max templates are so much better. I don't want to lose that!

Nice templates. Thanks so much for sharing. My favorite is the pink one.

However, I wish I could just "click" where the photos go. I had to use the toolbar to insert photos. Please keep it simple for those of us who have had this wonderful program a short time. I also like multiple page layouts so I can do matching albums. Sometimes its nice to have a space to journal in as well. When I do an album, I like to mix pages some with only titles / photos and others with journals, titles and photos.

I Ditto that you do nice work. BUT, your templates are more for the scrapper who will print them out, and then add the pictures by hand. With our wonderful program, the pictures just pop in by clicking on them, the elements are movable & resizable... We can reuse them in different ways on other pages.

Your work would be a great asset to all of us, because your work is so good, if it were in a true ScrapbookMax Digital Format.

Membership on a single site includes just the hundreds or thousands of templates on that site. We also have a Gold Membership Level that includes our 4 most popular sites and a Platinum Membership level that includes all our sites we currently have and any others that we add during the year automatically.

For instance, we'll be adding a Holiday Template site in the next few weeks and Gold and Platinum Members will be getting access to it automatically at no new expense.
